Wonderful Wednesdays are set to start in Oakland again this year on June 18th and running through until August 28. “This annual event brings out many people to Downtown because it is one of those days people are looking for something to do and what better place but to come to Downtown Oakland and spend the day shopping and dining” said Jack Cougle, the Oakland Main Street Manager. |

With the success of its first Free Downtown Movie Night, Oakland Main Street has scheduled its second Free Movie Night at the pocket park at Alder and Second Street’s on June 21st at dusk (approx. 9:15PM). |

 Wisp Resort in the Deep Creek Lake area in McHenry, Md., plans a June 2008 unveiling of its remodeled golf course. The enhancements were overseen by Todd Schoeder of Denver-based Design Workshop, with construction management services by Scottsdale-based OB Sports Golf Management.
